Discord is different from public social feeds, so StreamStash does not pretend it is a background scraper. You run the bookmarklet from a channel or DM page, it reads the conversation information already visible in your browser, then StreamStash downloads media locally and organises it with the rest of your archive.

The bookmarklet scrolls and waits for Discord to load messages, then lets StreamStash continue attachment downloads after capture is handed off.

Access boundary: StreamStash only archives channels and DMs you can already open. It does not bypass Discord permissions, private servers, login requirements or access controls.
Rate-limit posture: Discord archiving is manual by design. StreamStash does not run a Discord bot or poll Discord continuously, so capture only happens when you open a conversation and start the bookmarklet yourself.
Follow a person, not a whole channel.
A busy public server produces far more than you wanted to keep. Pick a single person when you import and only their messages and media are written to disk, so you keep the handful of posts you were actually there for instead of everything that scrolled past.
They become their own feed
The person you pick gets their own row and their own page, with their avatar, their media, a note, a creator group and Play all, the same as any other feed in your library.
Kept per server
The same account followed in two servers stays as two feeds, because names, avatars and what someone posts differ from one server to the next.
Use Discord's own search
Search for someone in Discord, narrow it to images, video or files if you want, then run the bookmark and StreamStash captures those results rather than scrolling a channel looking for them.
Media keeps downloading on its own: a capture that finds more media than one run can fetch works through the rest by itself, at the same pace, and picks up where it left off if you close StreamStash partway.
