1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using StreamStash ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
2. License
StreamStash grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on up to 3 devices per license key. You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software beyond what is permitted by applicable law
- Share your license key with others
- Use the Software for any commercial redistribution of downloaded content
3. Tiers and Payments
- Free tier — available at no cost with limited features as described on the pricing page.
- Personal and Power tiers — one-time payment. License keys are delivered instantly and do not expire.
- All future updates within the current major version are included at no additional cost.
4. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund from the date of purchase. If StreamStash isn't right for you for any reason, you're entitled to a full refund — no need to justify or explain.
How to request a refund
- Email support@streamstash.live from the address you used at checkout
- Include your order ID or license key
- We'll process the refund within 3 business days
What's covered
- Both Personal and Power tier purchases
- Any reason — technical issues, change of mind, or unmet expectations
What's not covered
- Refund requests made more than 14 days after the original purchase date
- Accounts suspended or restricted by third-party platforms (StreamStash cannot guarantee against platform action — see Section 7)
- Partial refunds for unused time on multi-device licenses (the licence is delivered as a single unit)
Refunds are issued back to the original payment method. Once a refund is processed, the corresponding licence key is deactivated and the Software reverts to Free tier limits on any installations using it.
Licence and continued use after refund
Purchase of StreamStash grants you a licence to use the Software at your paid tier. On refund, cancellation, chargeback, or licence revocation, your right to continue using paid-tier features ends immediately. You agree to uninstall the Software or allow it to downgrade to the Free tier, and you must not attempt to bypass, circumvent, or re-enable paid-tier functionality after your licence has been revoked.
Content you have archived prior to the refund remains on your system. This content is subject to the same copyright, privacy, and platform-terms obligations as any publicly-available content you download from third-party platforms — your licence to the Software does not grant any additional rights over archived content. You remain solely responsible for how you use, store, share, or delete that content.
Attempting to bypass licence revocation, share licence keys, or automate a purchase-use-refund cycle may result in permanent suspension from future purchases and, where applicable, chargeback disputes with your payment provider.
5. Acceptable Use
StreamStash is a tool for personal archival and research purposes only. You are solely responsible for:
- Complying with the terms of service of any platform you access through StreamStash
- Ensuring your use of downloaded content complies with applicable copyright and privacy laws
- Any content you download, store, or distribute using the Software
StreamStash does not host, distribute, or store any third-party content. The Software runs entirely on your hardware.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Software will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Any specific platform will remain supported (third-party APIs change without notice)
- Downloaded content will always be available or accessible
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall StreamStash or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software, including but not limited to account suspensions, data loss, or legal claims related to downloaded content.
8. Platform API Changes
StreamStash relies on third-party platform APIs that may change at any time. We make reasonable efforts to update the Software promptly, but cannot guarantee continuous compatibility with any specific platform.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to revoke license keys if these terms are violated, including but not limited to redistribution of the Software or license key sharing.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via the website.
