Add a Kick channel and StreamStash records the broadcast the moment it goes live, with no need to be at the machine. Because Kick runs no ads in the stream, you get the clean broadcast start to finish, plus its saved VODs and clips.

A channel's own VOD does not last forever, and not every stream becomes one. StreamStash records the broadcast as it happens, so the copy is permanently yours. Add the channel once and it handles both the live recording and the saved content.
No ads to deal with
Kick does not play ads into live streams, so a Kick recording is the clean broadcast from start to finish. Nothing to mark and nothing to skip.
Chat replay comes with it
Kick chat can be read back for a short while after a stream ends, so once a recording finishes its chat is fetched and replayed in sync beside the video. Live chat capture is a Power feature, with a switch in Settings to turn it off. Saved VOD chat replay is free.
VODs and clips too
Monitor a channel for its saved VODs and clips on a schedule, or paste a single VOD or clip into Quick Download when you only need one.
Both copies, and which is fuller: where you have your recording and the channel's VOD of the same broadcast, the card tells you which is fuller on every tier. Both are kept by default, since the two genuinely differ and a skip cannot be undone. Power users can switch on skipping the duplicate VOD, which saves a lot of space on a long stream.

The full clip archive
A Kick channel's clip history is reachable however far back it goes. Clips never expire and popular channels have hundreds, so a first check can take a while and download a lot; after that, checks only look at new ones. Adding a new channel does this up front, and a Deep scan button runs the pass again on demand.
Two chats, one timeline
For creators who stream to Kick and Twitch at once, group their two accounts and both audiences show against the same recording, interleaved by timestamp with a coloured dot marking which platform each message came from. Nothing extra is downloaded when you already record both. Buttons on the chat rail switch between Both, Kick and Twitch. Power tier, alongside live chat capture itself.
Renames are followed
When a Kick channel stops being reachable, StreamStash checks whether the creator simply changed their handle. If they did, the feed, its history, its monitor, its recordings and the folder on disk all move across on their own, and their past usernames stay searchable. Where a channel cannot be identified after a rename it says so plainly rather than reporting a flat failure, and your downloaded content is kept either way.
View counts stay current: a saved VOD or clip used to keep whatever view count it had at the moment it was downloaded, which for a VOD grabbed shortly after a stream ended was close to zero. Checks now refresh those figures and record them over time, so the trend view works for Kick as it does elsewhere.
